WHAT IS THE CREATIVE IMPACT AWARD?

One annual unrestricted award of $25,000 will be awarded to an exceptional artist that has made a significant impact in the community and contributed to the region’s arts and culture sector. Ideal candidates for the Creative Impact Award will have an exceptional body of work, a sustained practice, and be recognized as an artist that has helped make Northwest Arkansas a welcoming and supportive environment for artists. There is a strong preference for nominations of artists that have lacked access to traditional forms of institutional support. This award is designed to strengthen the artist's career and deepen the arts community in Northwest Arkansas.

As a part of the award, the selected artist will:

  • Attend the Artists 360 fall retreat in Bentonville, AR and give a 10-minute workshare presentation about their art practice and career (October 19-20, 2024).

  • Attend the Artists 360 Spring Alumni Retreat in Bentonville, AR and give a keynote 60-minute talk with Q&A about their art practice and career (April 26, 2025).

  • Present a 10 minute workshare presentation at the Full Circle Artists 360 Spring Showcase at Crystal Bridges (April 27, 2025).
